Hello Crafty Sprout Friends. Thanks for visiting us for the past two weeks as we share our projects and hoped to inspire you. Perhaps, we shed new light onto how to use Crafty Sprout sets, I mean did you see how the Totally Witchin set was used for a Valentine project. Talk about wow! Talk about CREAT-TIVE!!!!!
We are here today to wrap up our Recap Event with a little mini blog hop where you will see new and favorite projects. Well if you hopped over here from Gloria's fabulous blog then you are in the right place. If not then you must start at the beginning at Crafty Sprouts.
Well of course, I have so many favorites but my all time favorite is Fanpire!
The white one says Future Mrs. Cullen and Forks, WA on either side while the black one says Sparkle on each side! I made these using Shrinky Dinks! I found a good tutorial here but I tweeked it and played with trial and error because that tutorial is not for words. I used alcohol inks (this is very important and the only way that it will not smudge!) The White is a little easier because it is rough and the ink sticks better to it but technically (according to the tutorial) I did it backwards but I had to so you could read the words. I think it looks fine but that is just me! The black is a very slick surface so using alcohol inks is a must! I used RangerAdirondack mixatives in silver. It is so pretty in person!
I have loved Shrinky dinks since I was little girl and to play with them today was a blast! It was amazing that this sheet of 14cm shrank to fit my size 6 finger! I used a chapstick tube to shape the ring after it was out of the oven! If you have any question please ask I do not want to bog you down with too much info but trust me it is super super easy!
OK so I hope that you enjoy my recap of my project and enter me a comment on your favorite Crafty Sprouts stamps set in order to be entered into the running for a ring! Now hop on over to my blog bestie Princess Olivia Kate's mom aka Sandra!
Have a fabulous weekend!
